Writer, performer, teacher, lover of words and ideas but ready to bring it all down to earth and into the body; learning to accept both my flaws and my talents; trying to live at least three parallel lives in just one lifetime and actually starting to believe that it may work.

I'm looking for new ways of creating and crossing genres. I would love to meet storytellers and people doing somatic improv and/or ritual. I'm also interested in the function of story in culture making, especially with regard to transgressive identities.

I live with my partner, Nagila, in one of the most beautiful places on Earth: redwoods, farm land, ocean–and San Francisco only a short drive away. I feel more like a girl in the summer and more like…something else…in the winter, but I'm always happiest in flip flops (even in the rain).
